Where did it all start?
More than a few moons ago, little baby-midwife-in-training one reflection session at university let slip that I was heading to Turkey – a familial double bluff from the Scrooge-like matriarch who suggested that we’d be alone, so rather meet the fat man and have a casualty corner mince pie, I’d booked the two of us a little festive holiday. When Turkey is essentially ‘closed’…. What could go wrong? I was told I should write the spoils of our misadventures and here we are!
It goes without saying, where we start, the journey here continues, same bestie, not so small Small (she’s 3cm shorter than I am!) …. Same weird face selfies. Single mum life for the win!
